
Joya Marie Marsh is a Fine Arts Printmaker with her Bachelors in Fine Arts from Grand Valley State University in Michigan. She has studied at the Academia D'Arte in Florence, Italy and at Kingston University in London, UK. She is currently living and working in Seattle, WA.
The artists current work is a series of linocuts focusing on abstracted images of the city titled Observation Works. Through observing and documenting her current surroundings she seeks to draw symmetry between what is natural and what is man made. To create a narrative of time and place.
Joya is currently an active member of many local arts organizations including Artist Trust and Seattle Print Arts. Upcoming shows include "Creative Block" at Two Bells Tavern and "Observation Works" a solo show at Art on the Ridge gallery. Her work is currenty on display at Art on the Ridge gallery.
